The Basics of Academic Writing

Sun Nov 6, 2016 11:00AM - 12:00PM • Writing Center

The Writing Center is now offering a series of workshops called The Basics of Academic Writing. These workshops are aimed to improve the foundations of writing in the American academy. Throughout these workshops, students will learn more about the conventions of academic writing, highlighting the importance and specificity of American academic writing. The first workshop, this Sunday from 12-1 PM, is about breaking down and understanding the requirements of prompts. We will focus on writing assignments in the humanities. This workshop welcomes all Notre Dame students.
