Tackling the Big One: Managing and Writing a Longer Research Paper

Thu Nov 8, 2012 5:30PM - 6:30PM • 109 O'Shaughnessy Hall

The University Writing Center is sponsoring an undergraduate-focused workshop designed to help students tackle a longer reserach project. During the session, students will learn ways to make an argument using outside research. The workshop is focused on research methods, organization skills, citation resources, and techniques to keep focused on the project. The workshop will also help students navigate the waters of claims and evidence with the intention of creating original and thoughtful reserach papers. Students should feel free to bring any questions they might have.
