Dissertation Camp

Mon Oct 15, 2012 • Hesburgh Library

Dissertation Camp is a weeklong program for graduate students co-sponsored by the Writing Center and Hesburgh Libraries.  It is held Monday through Friday during fall break, from 8:30am-5:00pm. It is designed to provide large blocks of uninterrupted work time for graduate students at any stage in their writing or research process. The program will include several short workshops on a variety of topics including managing large writing projects, conducting literature reviews, formatting your dissertation or thesis, managing bibliographic citations, and more. There will also be plenty of time reserved for individual consultations with Writing Center tutors and subject librarians as needed.

Dissertation/Thesis camp is free of charge and will include breakfasts and lunches in a dedicated space in the Hesburgh Library. Registration is capped at 25, and students who are able to attend all five days of the camp will be given priority for registration.

Registration details to come.
