Grad School Lifeline: A Writing Center Workshop for Undergraduates

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the grad school application process? Does the notion of writing your personal statement terrify you? If you’re not sure where to start, which schools to apply to, or whether grad school is the right choice for you at all, we are here to help.
Please join us for an informal workshop on the basics of graduate school application, with a special emphasis on writing personal statements, cover letters and resumes/CVs. Real-life grad student and writing tutor Betsy Cornwell will walk you through the application process, answer your questions, and offer guidance for writing effective, compelling personal statements.
