Graduate Student Workshop: Preparing the 5-Minute Research Spiel

Mon Nov 8, 2010 5:30PM - 6:45PM • LaFortune Ballroom

There are many opportunities throughout your graduate career when it is critical to be able to succinctly share your research. For example, you will want to be ready to share with speakers that visit campus, at conferences, and during job interviews. This workshop will help you learn to develop your own research spiel and be able to tweak it depending on the audience you are speaking to.

To register for this event, please visit the Event Registration Form on the Graduate School Professional Development website.

This workshop is offered in conjunction with the Graduate School, the Career Center, and the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning.
