Conference Prep II: Abstract Accepted... Now What? Tips for Writing Conference Papers and Presenting them Effectively

Tue Mar 26, 2013 4:00PM - 5:00PM • 320 DeBartolo Hall

This workshop is part of a two-part series on preparing to present papers at conferences. In this session, we will discuss strategies for writing and delivering papers at conferences. We will discuss challenges unique to the genre, such as finding an appropriate focus and scope, adapting a written paper to an oral delivery, and integrating media such as handouts and PowerPoint presentations.
