NaNoWriMo - Publishing: An Introduction

Tue Nov 27, 2012 5:00PM - 6:00PM • 109 O'Shaughnessy Hall

So you wrote a book. Now what? The final event of the Writing Center's NaNoWriMo series provides a brief introduction to the world of creative publishing. Covering a range of genres and project lengths (from the single poem to the 500-page novel), this session will help you get a grasp of the publishing scene and how to prepare a manuscript to send to a publisher. We'll provide an overview of resources, as well as examples of cover and query letters. Feel free to bring along any questions you might have, and we will set you on the path towards becoming a published author.
