You on Paper: Composing a Meaningful Personal Statement

Sun Oct 7, 2012 4:00PM - 6:00PM • 203 Coleman-Morse (Writing Center)

The University Writing Center is hosting a Personal Statement workshop this coming Sunday, October 7th. The workshop will guide participants through strategies to construct personal statements for graduate school, fellowship applications, and even study abroad applications. Participants can expect to leave the session with a clear idea of what they should include in their statement and how they should begin. The workshop is open to all University students: both students who have started their statements as well as those who need further inspiration to begin.

Anyone interested in attending the workshop should register here. Space is limited so please register soon. The workshop will run from 4-5pm, and then Writing Center tutors will be available from 5-6pm to work with participants on their projects one-on-one for anyone who wishes to stay.
